Austal USA, Mobile, Ala., is being awarded a $13,974,187 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-11-C-2301 to exercise an option for special studies, analyses and review efforts for the Littoral Combat Ship Program Office, PMS 501. Work will be performed in Mobile (72 percent); and Pittsfield, Mass. (28 percent), and is expected to be complete by March 2017.
