Port of NOLA’s new CEO

The Port of New Orleans’ board of commissioners has named Brandy D. Christian as the port’s president and chief executive officer following a two-year tenure as Chief Operating Officer. Christian, who began serving on Jan. 1, is the first woman president/CEO in Port NOLA’s 120-year history; and one of the few women port directors in the U.S. She succeeds Gary LaGrange, who served as president/CEO for the last 15 years.
