PASCAGOULA, Miss. - Northrop Grumman's Aegis guided missile destroyer William P. Lawrence successfully completed its combined super trial last week in the Gulf of Mexico. The successful sea trial of DDG 110 paved the way for delivery to the Navy in the next six weeks. The 509-foot, 9,200-ton ship is powered by four gas-turbine propulsion plants.
