Sub to be christened Saturday

The attack submarine USS Mississippi will be christened Saturday in a ceremony at General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, Conn., the Navy said. Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus will deliver the principal address. The ship, the fifth to be named after the state, is scheduled to be commissioned in Gulfport, Miss., June 2, 2012.
