DPA provides $15M for MS plant


PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Calgon Carbon Corp., a manufacturer and distributor of activated carbon products, was awarded up to $15.4 million from the U.S. government as part of the Defense Production Act (DPA) Title III program. The award also allows for the construction of a manufacturing facility at the company’s Pearl River plant in Bay St. Louis, Miss., which will provide the capability to assure uninterrupted supply of critical military personal protection equipment and collective protection equipment.
