MS firm earns $16.7M for dam rebuild

Husman Environmental & RC Construction JV of Jackson, Miss., is awarded a $16,780,000 firm-fixed-price contract for Semmes Lake dam rebuild. Bids were solicited via the internet with three received. Work will be performed in Fort Jackson, S.C., with an estimated completion date of June 25, 2020. FY 2018 military construction funds in the amount of $16,780,000 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers of Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity.
