Crowley’s 2019 new cargo units

Crowley’s logistics division has invested nearly $30M in new cargo-carrying equipment within the last 12 months. Its latest acquisition includes 1,500-foot dry container units being delivered to multiple ports in order to integrate with the firm’s equipment fleet. These containers follow the company’s December 2018 receipt of 400 new 40-foot-wide cubed refrigerated cargo containers for use by perishables customers between the U.S., Central America and Caribbean. The company anticipates 150 new 40-foot flat racks in the coming months to serve those markets.
