MS firm: $18M for river work

Mississippi Limestone Corp. of Friars Point, Miss., was awarded an $18,399,991 firm-fixed-price contract for articulated concrete mattress casting at the Mississippi River. Bids were solicited via the internet with two received. Work will be performed in Delta, La., with an estimated completion date of Dec. 21, 2019. FY 2019 Army operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $18,399,991 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers of Vicksburg, Miss., is the contracting activity.
