Portion of La.open shrimp season

Louisiana’s Wildlife and Fisheries department announced May 16 that the portion of state outside waters between the Atchafalaya River Ship Channel at Eugene Island westward to western shore of Freshwater Bayou Canal will reopen to shrimping at 6 a.m. on May 20.
