Ex-MNG boss on HII’s board
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) announced Nov. 1 that retired Army Maj. Gen. Augustus Leon Collins has been elected to its board of directors. Collins served in the Army and the Mississippi National Guard for more than 35 years, holding numerous command and staff positions. He retired Aug. 31 after serving five years as the Commanding General of both the Mississippi Army and Air National Guard. He currently serves as CEO of MINACT Inc., a Mississippi-based contractor supporting the Labor Department’s Job Corps program in multiple states.
