Brooks is CEO of EGC

HOUSTON - Energy XXI Gulf Coast Inc. announced the appointment of Douglas E. Brooks as CEO/President effective April 17. EGC increased the size of its board from six to seven directors and named Brooks to fill the newly-created directorship. Brooks has more than 34 years of experience in the energy industry; and most recently served as the CEO for Yates Petroleum Corp. Energy XXI Gulf Coast Inc. is an independent oil and natural gas development and production firm with assets primarily located in the Gulf of Mexico waters offshore of Louisiana and Texas.
