Southern Strike over Gulf Coast

Gulf Coast residents will be seeing increased air activity over the waterways throughout the region as Southern Strike 2018 – a multi-service training exercise hosted by the Mississippi Air National Guard’s Combat Readiness Training Center in Gulfport, Miss. – intensifies maritime and riverine operations. Southern Strike 2018 is a large scale combat exercise emphasizing air dominance, maritime and air support operations, and precision engagement.
