B&K levee contract: $31.2M

B&K Construction Co. of Mandeville, La., was awarded a $31,260,319 firm-fixed-price contract for West Bank Mississippi River Levee. Bids were solicited via the internet with four received. Work will be performed in New Orleans with an estimated completion date of Oct. 22, 2021. FY 2019 Army operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $31,260,319 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers of New Orleans is the contracting activity.
