Open Ocean's GoM group webinar

The Open Ocean Trustee Implementation Group will hold its annual public meeting via an interactive webinar Dec. 12 from 12-1:30 p.m. (CT). The webinar is open to the public. During the meeting, Trustees will present updates on the Open Ocean Restoration Area’s first and second restoration plans, restoration projects, and monitoring and adaptive management activities. There will be an opportunity for Q&As after the updates are presented. Registration at https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/9088539328514658317 Gulf Coast Note: After the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, federal and state agencies came together to form the Deepwater Horizon Natural Resource Damage Assessment Trustee Council that studied effects of the oil spill, and continues to restore the Gulf of Mexico. Following settlements, the Trustees continue to work together as a Council.
