PASCAGOULA, Miss. -- Ingalls Shipbuilding delivered the National Security Cutter
James (WMSL 754) to the U.S. Coast Guard Friday. The ship will sail in mid-July to Boston for an Aug. 8 commissioning. It's the fifth Legend-class ship built for the Coast Guard by Ingalls. The NSC class is 418 feet long and has a top speed of 28 knots and a range of 12,000 miles. The ship will have a crew of 120. (Source:
