$1.8 GoM projects grant

The Gulf of Mexico Coastal Ocean Observing System Regional Association (GCOOS-RA) has been awarded $1.8 million a year for the next five years to support data collection and distribution in the Gulf of Mexico. GCOOS funds work conducted by, among others, Louisiana State University, University of Southern Mississippi, and the Dauphin Island (Ala.) Sea Laboratory.
