Dawn Kernagis, a research scientist with Pensacola, Fla.’s Institute for Human and Machine Cognition (IHMC) will be among NASA astronauts and scientists living underwater as part of NASA's Extreme Environment Mission Operations (NEEMO) project in July. NEEMO 21’s mission is to take place at the Aquarius Reef Base, the world's only undersea research lab some y60-plus feet below the sea in the Florida Keys’ National Marine Sanctuary.
