$9.9M Weeks Marine contract

Weeks Marine Inc. of Covington, La., was awarded a $9,960,000 firm-fixed-price contract for emergency maintenance dredging of Moriches Inlet, New York, a Federal Navigation Project. Bids were solicited via the Internet with two received. Work will be performed in Suffolk, N.Y., with an estimated completion date of Sept. 12, 2018. FY 2018 Army operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $9,960,000 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers of New York City is the contracting activity.
