CG medevacs barge worker

NEW ORLEANS – The Coast Guard medically evacuated a 60-year-old man having stroke-like symptoms April 18 from the barge Pacific Shore, located about four nautical miles south of Atchafalaya Bay, La. A Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans MH-65 Dolphin helicopter and crew was dispatched to the scene; and transferred the man, who was reported in stable condition, to West Jefferson Medical Hospital.
