NEW ORLEANS - The Coast Guard rescued a jet-skier in the waters of Choctawhatchee Bay near Fort Walton Beach in the early morning hours of June 25. CG Sector Mobile, Ala., received a report of an overdue 24-year-old male jet-skier at 10:49 p.m. Saturday. The man was reported to have fallen in the water around 8 p.m. CG Station Destin, Fla., launched a response boat and crew, which located the man and transferred him to emergency medical services.
