Flood control for MR, Atchafalaya

Pine Bluff Sand and Gravel Co. of Pine Bluff, Ark., was awarded a $23,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for flood control for the Mississippi River and tributaries; and stone placement for the Mississippi, Atchafalaya, and Red rivers, and Old River control channels. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order with an estimated completion date of June 30, 2018. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers of New Orleans is the contracting activity.
