NEW ORLEANS - The Coast Guard and local Louisiana agencies are searching for a person in the water from a 14-foot johnboat in Lake Pontchartrain near Seabrook Bridge on June 7. Coast Guard Sector New Orleans received a report from a motorist on the bridge who reported seeing a person fall from a capsized 14-foot johnboat at 2:40 p.m. Any information about the person or the johnboat are asked to call CG Sector New Orleans at 504-365-2200. UPDATE: The Coast Guard suspended its search at 7:45 p.m. June 8. The CG searched about 218 square nautical miles for 28 hours.
