NEW ORLEANS - The Coast Guard rescued three people from the waters near St. Andrews Pass in Florida on July 31. The CG got a report of a vessel sinking about three nautical miles east of St. Andrews Pass before noon. A CG Station Panama City shallow-water vessel and crew of the cutter Kingfisher was diverted to the area, located the trio and transported them in good condition to St. Andrews State Park.
