$22.9M flood control work for NOLA

Luhr Brothers Inc. of Columbia, Ill., was awarded a $22,936,000 firm-fixed-price contract for Mississippi River and tributaries flood control. Bids were solicited via the internet with three received. Work will be performed in New Orleans, with an estimated completion date of May 1, 2020. FY 2019 Army operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $22,936,000 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers of New Orleans is the contracting activity.
