NOLA shipping firm pact: $7M

Patriot Shipping of New Orleans is awarded a $7,201,300 firm-fixed-price contract for the transportation of dry cargo in support of Pacific Pathways 19-2 using the combination roll on/roll off-load on/load off vessel M/V Ocean Jazz. This contract is for a period of 158 days with no options periods. Work will be performed at sea worldwide, and will commence May 27. It is expected to be completed by Nov. 20, 2019. Transportation Working Capital Funds in the amount of $7,201,300 are obligated for FY 2019 and do not expire. Military Sealift Command of Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity.
