Raytheon gets LPD 17 support contract

TEWKSBURY, Mass. - Raytheon has been awarded a Navy contract for up to $23 million for lifecycle engineering and support for the LPD 17 class of amphibious warfare ships. This award exercises the third of three one-year options included in the original contract awarded to Raytheon in 2005. The work is performed at the Expeditionary Warfare Center, San Diego, Calif.; Seapower Capability Center, Portsmouth, R.I.; and by Raytheon Technical Services Company in New Orleans and SanDiego.
