Rolls-Royce to power UK ships

Rolls-Royce won a contract to provide power and propulsion equipment for two of the world's largest warships - the UK’s new 65,000 ton aircraft carriers, HMS Queen Elizabeth, and HMS Prince of Wales. Rolls-Royce is supplying the MT30 gas turbine as part of an integrated system that includes the carrier's propellers. Rolls-Royce has a propeller foundry in Pascagoula, Miss.
