Weeks Marine $11.4M contract

Weeks Marine Inc. of Covington, La., has been awarded an $11,445,250 firm-fixed-price contract for Wilmington Harbor (N.C.) Inner Ocean Bar maintenance dredging in Brunswick County. Bids were solicited via the Internet with two received. Work will be performed in Southport, N.C., with an estimated completion date of Aug. 31, 2018. FY 2014/16/17/18 Army operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $11,445,250 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Wilmington, N.C., is the contracting activity.
