$24.4M Houma steel barge contract

Thoma-Sea Marine Constructors of Houma, La., was awarded a $24,491,400 firm-fixed-price contract for procurement and delivery of a steel barge. Bids were solicited via the internet with two received. Work will be performed in Houma with an estimated completion date of July 19, 2023. FY 2019 Mississippi River and Tributaries funds in the amount of $24,491,400 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers of Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity.
