Houma firm barge pact: $9M

Thoma-Sea Constructors of Houma, La., is awarded a $9,152,347 firm-fixed-price contract to acquire a new barge and integrate a government furnished crawler crane into the barge. Bids were solicited via the internet with four received. Work will be performed in Houma with an estimated completion date of May 27, 2021. Fiscal 2019 plant replacement improvement program funds in the amount of $9,152,347 were obligated at the time of the award.
