HII $10.1M for DDG-119 work

Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Pascagoula, Miss., is awarded a $10,100,000 cost-plus-award-fee delivery order against previously awarded basic ordering agreement (N00024-16-G-2303) to provide program management, advanced planning, engineering, design, material procurement/kitting, liaison, scheduling, participation in planning conferences and design reviews in support of the post shakedown availability (PSD) for DDG-119. Work will be performed in Pascagoula (75%); and Norfolk, Va. (25%). It is expected to be complete by August 2021. FY 2020 Navy shipbuilding and conversion funding in the amount of $10,100,000 will be obligated at time of delivery order and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured in accordance with 10 U.S. Code 2304(c)(1), with only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
