Miss. River construction

Midwest Construction Co., Nebraska City, Neb., was awarded a $20,219,550 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of hardpoints and placement of riprap upper-bank paving at various locations on the Ohio and Mississippi rivers. Bids were solicited via the internet with six received. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of April 30, 2024.
